AS IT RELATES TO PODCASTING
Are you looking to discover the hidden secrets today’s top Podcasters don’t tell you about starting, growing, and monetizing a Podcast?
Did you create and launch your show to make an impact, but instead are stuck feeling frustrated with a “Podfaded” show?
Hosted by Simona Costantini, As It Relates To Podcasting is your one-stop-shop for everything relating to podcasting so that you avoid the burnout and podfade while growing your show into a global success.
Let’s be real—podcasting in the summer hits different. Your calendar fills up, your brain wants more breezy and less busy, and podcasting? It can either feel like a heavy lift… or a powerful tool.
This summer, I’m choosing the second one.
In this post, I’m breaking down exactly how I’m prepping my podcast for summer in a way that supports me. Not the algorithm. Not the pressure to churn. Just strategy, systems, and ease.
☀️ Why Summer Doesn’t Have to Mean Silence
Here’s the truth: taking breaks can be beautiful. But so can staying consistent—with less stress.
Instead of ghosting your audience or burning out trying to keep up, summer is the perfect time to reimagine how your podcast works for you. For me, that meant revisiting my “why,” reworking my content flow, and leaning hard on the systems that give me more white space.
Because podcasting in summer should feel light. Not like another to-do list.
🎙️ Step 1: Reconnect With Your Why
You know the feeling when you’re running so fast you forget why you even started? Been there.
Between moving houses, running a business, and life being life, I lost my rhythm with the podcast. But instead of spiraling, I hit pause and went inward. I asked:
Why did I start this show? Who am I here to serve? What lights me up?
Spoiler: it wasn’t perfectly polished episodes or pressure to perform.
It was connection. Education. Zero gatekeeping.
Rooting back into that deeper mission changed everything.
And if you’re feeling off-track? That reconnection might be your next best step, too.
📦 Step 2: Batch Less, Impact More
You don’t need a vault of 12 episodes to be prepared—you need a simple system that moves with you.
This summer, I’m recording shorter solo episodes that are:
Each episode now becomes:
All from one 10–15 minute episode.
Batching doesn’t have to be extreme. Just intentional.
And if you’re not comfortable recording solo yet? Start small. A few bullet points, a quiet room, and your real voice—that’s all you need.
🧘♀️ Step 3: Let Systems Do the Heavy Lifting
My brain has enough tabs open. This summer, I'm letting Northflow manage the podcast chaos for me.
No more:
Instead, everything lives in one place:
✔️ Tasks assigned
✔️ Progress tracked
✔️ Episodes mapped out
It’s like hiring a project manager for your show—without the payroll.
And yes, you can try Northflow for free [insert link]. I use it for my own show and all our agency clients.
🌊 Final Thoughts: Less Pressure, More Presence
Your summer doesn’t need to be content chaos.
It can be:
If you’re feeling behind? You’re not. You’re just in transition.
And this is your invitation to make your podcast work with you—not against you.
